Iran Elected by U.N. to the Commission on Women’s Rights

Stoning of an Iranian Woman

Yeah, you heard me right.  The Islamic Republic of Iran, now on the Commission on Women’s Rights.  This is beyond ridiculous–indeed, beyond the pale; also, apparently Fox News is the only main stream news source that considers this newsworthy.  Furthermore, where is the outrage from feminist organizations such as NOW?  *crickets* …Bueller?  Bueller?  BUELLER?!!!!  Their website doesn’t mention anything about this…it is almost entirely dedicated to the promotion of abortion, veiled as so-called reproductive rights.

Exercise in Free Speech

In support of Matt Stone and Trey Parker of South Park fame, we unrepentant infidels here at Red State Witch are exercising the right of free speech that is the birthright of EVERY American.  Use it or lose it!

Chris Muir of Day By Day concocted this test pattern, using the image of Mohammed that cartoonist Kurt Westergaard first produced for the Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten; the image of The Prophet (pieces be upon Him) that got Islamic nutjobs all torqued up.

Thanks to cbullitt over at Soylent Green, for suggesting that this cartoon go viral.

We’ll be patiently awaiting the issuance of a fatwa against us (as Eddie Izzard says, “A fuckin’ jihad on you!).  In the meantime, we’ll stretch our indecency rules just a little by sharing another image that cbullitt posted.  Now, this is my kind of burqa! (more…)

More on the South Park Controversy

Ayaan Hirsi Ali comments on the threats against South Park:

This woman is one of my heroes. She is fearless in her mission to expose the truth about Islam, and I absolutely dig that about her.  To quote Ali,  “This is an assault on the freedom of expression, and we have to defend it tooth and nail.”

about the religion of peace religion of hate and intolerance.

I posted recently about Geert Wilders, the Dutch politician who sees Islam for what it really is (although, IMO, you have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to see through the liberal propaganda).  Mr. Wilders produced a short film called Fitna (you can watch it here), that puts no words in the mouth of Islam; rather, it puts forth words  exactly as they are written in the Koran, and the documented words and actions  of Imams and Muslims themselves.  If you haven’t seen it, you really should take the time to do so, and share it around. *Warning: the images shown are graphic and violent; hey are also very, very real.

Mr. Wilders is being prosecuted by his own government for “hate speech” against Islam.  This travesty of democracy and free speech can be followed at Geert Wilders’ website.  More importantly, you can contribute money to his defense.  We cannot afford to ignore his plight, because we are all vulnerable to this threat.

It’s a serious matter; even their pets are indoctrinated:

Okay, okay, so that last photo’s a joke, but trust me; this is no laughing matter.  The goal of Islam is world domination, and it is time to say no to political correctness and time to do everything that we can to preserve freedom.

Fuck political correctness.

On a somber and serious note, please keep in your thoughts and prayers the 500+ Christian farmers who were slaughtered – hacked to death – by Muslims in Nigeria.

As usual, the soft response from the usual suspects is fantastically effective.

UN chief Ban Ki-moon and Washington led calls for restraint on Monday after the slaughter of more than 500 Christians in Nigeria, as survivors told how the killers chopped down their victims.

[Calls for restraint?  How effective is that likely to be after the Muslims just massacred 500 people?  They just finished demonstrating that they have NO restraint. – Wiccapundit]

Media reported that Muslim residents of the villages in Plateau state had been warned by phone text message, two days prior to the attack, so they could make good their escape before the exit points were sealed off.

Survivors said the attackers were able to separate the Fulanis from members of the rival Berom group by chanting ‘nagge’, the Fulani word for cattle. Those who failed to respond in the same language were hacked to death.

“People were attacked with axes, daggers and cutlasses — many of them children, the aged and pregnant women.”  One local paper said the gangs shouted Allah Akhbar (God is Great) before breaking into homes and setting them alight in the early hours of Sunday. Churches were among the buildings that were burned down.

[Allah Akhbar.  Where have we heard that before?]

The UN chief told reporters he was “deeply concerned”.

I am deeply concerned that the deep concern of the deeply-concerned UN chief is not likely to accomplish jack squat.
