If he’d sprung from my loins, he’d look like this.

Just a question: since Obama is half white, if he had a son, isn’t it just as likely that he’d look like George Zimmerman, who’s half white as well?  And on that note, which half of George Zimmerman is the racist half?  The white half or the Hispanic half?

I’m not a racist …

… ’cause I know someone who lives down the street from someone who works with someone who voted for Obama.

Apparently, that’s sort of the argument being made by wealthy white liberal residents of Park Slope, an upscale enclave of Brooklyn.  You know the type: bankers, lawyers, etc.  A plan was introduced to put a magnet school in the area that would bring in approximately six hundred mostly black and Latino students.  One resident was not happy:

The woman insisted that she was concerned only about the menacing behavior of the students, not their race, and to prove it, she played the Obama Vote Card:

“By the way, I am an Obama Democrat. I love Obama. I would want anyone in his family living next door to me. I work mostly with people of color every day…”

I suspect those “people of color” she claims to work with tell their friends that they work with a “person of stupid.”

In the immortal words of Navin R. Johnson: “Sir, you are talking to a nigger!”  (The Jerk, 1979).

Racist racists and their racism.

When you were a kid, did you ever trying saying a word over and over until it lost all its meaning and didn’t even sound like a real word anymore?  It seems that the race pimps have managed to do that with the word “racist.”

Webster’s definition of “racism”:

a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

Does that sound at all like the way the word is commonly used today?

Here’s my take on the subject:

Whenever someone uses the word “racist,” this is what I hear:

I am so going to see this.  You will too; I said so.

Speak softly and carry a limp stick

Apparently, Obama decided that his administration’s vaunted SmartDiplomacy™ could use something to firm it up.  So he calls Al Qaeda’s actions in Africa  “racist.” The Prez might want to consider that elsewhere in the world, nobody gets their thongs in a twist over being called racist.  Africa, in particular, would seem to be immune to the insult value of the “racist” label.  This is, after all, a region where chattel slavery is still practiced (Sudan).
