Seriously? Seriously?

– Wiccapundit

Your Wiccapundit loves him some show tunes.  South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, and of more recent vintage The Will Rogers Follies (with lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, who wrote the lyrics to Guys and Dolls).  But I hates me some truly amateurish community college theater major-bush league-municipal theater company attempt at being both politically relevant and off-off-off Broadway at the same time.   That, of course, would be One Term More, a website devoted to getting Obama the second term he so richly deserves, and the “musical” production found at the site.

This has to be the most wretched example of Lefty propaganda ever to see the light of day.  (click on the link, as the video can’t be embedded).  Watch it, if you can.  Watch it, if you dare.  If you can make it through the entire 6:12, you are capable of withstanding a waterboarding personally administered by Dick Cheney.

One Term More

Seriously, we are into territory that makes Plan Nine From Outer Space look like Oscar-worthy material.  I note that the title is One Term More, rather than One More Term.  I suppose that this was deliberate in order to provide more rhyming opportunities for the Thesaurusly-challenged librettist responsible for gems like this:

This man who would unseat Barack’s
A bleak choice at the ballot box.

Really?  You rhymed “Barack’s” with “box?”  I never would have seen that.  I guess that’s why you make your living at this kind of work.

Filibusters. Budget scrums.
Ultrasounds & speculums.
To the Dark Side they’ve succumbed.

Hmmm, let’s see: “scrums,” “speculums,” and “succumbed.”  Milton?  A piker.  Byron?  A hack.  This guy knows how to write poetry.  I bet those dead English guys could never have come up with a stinging retort like calling Republicans “fetid nuts.”

I guess they didn’t call the show One More Term because the only words that rhyme with “term” are “germ,” “sperm,” and “squirm.”  Which, if you  think about it, could all be used in one sentence and still accurately reflect the current administration.

Honestly, I think Spanky, Darla, and Alfalfa did a better job when one of the Little Rascals said “Hey! Let’s put on a show!”

I cannot give this performance the review it deserves.  I leave that to Cousin Vinny:

The older I get, the more I appreciate people who speak the truth, speak it plainly, and speak it unapologetically.  Pat Condell brings the heat to the Religion of Peace™.

The real motivation behind immigration reform.

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

– Elphaba

Watch the video via this LINK all the way through.  This rally took place in my back yard.  No wonder the President is reluctant to enforce immigration laws…these people have the same political goals for America that he has, and not one of them is loyal to the United States, or to the vision of her Founders.  In my mind, the entire purpose of a screening process for legal immigration is to weed out criminals, disloyal America-haters, and unproductive members of society.  They have no business being here.

More on the South Park Controversy

Ayaan Hirsi Ali comments on the threats against South Park:

This woman is one of my heroes. She is fearless in her mission to expose the truth about Islam, and I absolutely dig that about her.  To quote Ali,  “This is an assault on the freedom of expression, and we have to defend it tooth and nail.”

Maligning the big bad Tea Party

Monday, April 19th, 2010

In my last rant (see V Sebastian Page) I made reference to the tea party phenomenon as our current vehicle of hope in the battle for freedomBill_clinton_small against would-be tyrants. Scarcely hours later I found myself reading about the latest subtle attack on these patriots, by none other than “Slick Willie” Blythe, aka former President William Jefferson Clinton.

We should be accustomed to attacks on the Tea Party by now, as liberals and the eagerly compliant mainstream media have been quite happy in rabidly savaging and grossly distorting them at every available opportunity. At first they were half-dismissed as kooks and oddballs who apparently just didn’t “get it.” By this mischaracterization we were supposed to perceive them as fringe loons who were by no means worthy of taking seriously. In reality, however, this worked more to expose the complete lack of objectivity in the MSM. Rather than investigating this growing group and their legitimate grievances, as any serious news organization is ethically bound to do, we were instead treated to vague references that never failed to cast them in an unflattering light.

As time went on the Tea Party grew, particularly as more and more people felt stung with buyers remorse in the ascension of Obama and his new breed of gangster cronies. So, on cue and directly out of the liberal propagandists play book, we then were (and still are) treated to both constant insinuations and even outright accusations of racism as a primary motive within the Tea Party. Not that any serious investigations had been done. The actual existence of racism is not the point, but rather to silence through the stigma of being labeled as racist. We even went as far as to have elected officials claim victim status from the supposed racial abuses of Tea Partiers. Of course there was absolutely no evidence to support the charges, but again, for some evidence is not necessary. If you are labeled a racist, then you must be one…right?

Now we have Clinton executing yet another propaganda tactic of the corrupt left, illegitimately associating the Tea Party with scary extremist groups of the past.

On Friday, former President Bill Clinton warned that the anger some members of the Tea Party express concerning taxes and the growth of government could lead to the same kind of extremism that led to the Oklahoma City bombing back in 1995.

Did you get that? These Tea Partiers are not only to be understood as redneck racist kooks, but now they are (according to liberals) potential extremist threats. It’s all fine and dandy to play ring around the rosy with Islamic terrorists, but we are supposed to disparage and fear peaceful protesters with legitimate grievances? And wasn’t it the liberals who not so long ago preached that dissent was patriotic every time they had their obnoxious hate-filled anti-Bush mob rallies? Funny how that whole thing works for them.

Here’s the truth: Tea partiers largely represent the broad sentiments of Americans across all lines. They are Republicans (60%), Independents (30%), and even Democrats (10%). They are white, black, and hispanic, along with other racial representations in proportions roughly similar to the overall national population. There are almost as many female “partiers” as there are male. They come from all income levels, and are overall more educated than average. They are certainly more educated than the majority of liberal voters. More importantly, they are highly educated on the issues and constitutional rights and limitations…putting many legislators to shame. In short, Tea Partiers are overall the exact opposite of what liberals try so hard to portray them as. It is precisely because of what they are that the would-be dictators and propagandist of the left fear them, and that is why they want you to fear the Partiers rather than listen to them.

The Tea Party is a direct threat to the outrageous lies and power grabs of our criminal class in political power, and they know this. What’s more, they know that people are becoming increasingly aware of the abuses many politicians have become accustomed to perpetrating on the public, and more are flocking to the Tea Party by the day. So if you’re smart, the next time you hear some talking head portraying the Tea Party as racist, redneck, uneducated, or as a borderline threat, you will know that you are listening to one of the bad guys who more likely fits into one or several of the categories listed rather than the group he would disparage so dishonestly.

Clinton has one thing right though…they are angry. They are angry at a government that is self indulgently expansive, that lies to and manipulates it’s people regularly, and that is more than eager to sell out their future so cheaply. It is angry at a government that makes it clear that it is no longer they who work for us, but we who work for them. And it is angry at those who would distort them and their views in a propaganda campaign that clarifies the reality of a political class run amok.

They’re angry, particularly with the fascist left, and they have every right to be. They are patriots, and tyrants have every reason to fear them.

I’ve been at work all day, and I’m too tired to cobble together my own version of this story; besides, Andrew Breitbart does such a great job, why reinvent the wheel?  If you haven’t read this article, I am highly recommending it.

about the religion of peace religion of hate and intolerance.

– Elphaba

I posted recently about Geert Wilders, the Dutch politician who sees Islam for what it really is (although, IMO, you have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to see through the liberal propaganda).  Mr. Wilders produced a short film called Fitna (you can watch it here), that puts no words in the mouth of Islam; rather, it puts forth words  exactly as they are written in the Koran, and the documented words and actions  of Imams and Muslims themselves.  If you haven’t seen it, you really should take the time to do so, and share it around. *Warning: the images shown are graphic and violent; hey are also very, very real.

Mr. Wilders is being prosecuted by his own government for “hate speech” against Islam.  This travesty of democracy and free speech can be followed at Geert Wilders’ website.  More importantly, you can contribute money to his defense.  We cannot afford to ignore his plight, because we are all vulnerable to this threat.

It’s a serious matter; even their pets are indoctrinated:

Okay, okay, so that last photo’s a joke, but trust me; this is no laughing matter.  The goal of Islam is world domination, and it is time to say no to political correctness and time to do everything that we can to preserve freedom.

Fuck political correctness.

You can’t make this stuff up. Seriously.

I have no problem with most Christians, truly I don’t.  The true Christians I know are generally pleasant, non-confrontational people who may think I’m wrong in my spiritual beliefs, but who are not intolerant and don’t treat me like I’m a Satanic, axe-wielding nutjob.

These people, however, seem to have slipped off the edge of the map, and have veered into “Here Be Dragons” territory.  I only give the link so you can check this out for yourselves.

Repent Amarillo

The site has graphics that look remarkably like the U.S. Army’s ad campaign “An Army of One” except that it is “An Army of God.”  Interestingly, there is a star-shaped pendant shown hanging over the phrase;  it looks eerily like – a pentagram, the symbol of witchcraft and Wicca!  The motto of the group is “We are the Special Forces of spiritual warfare, we’re looking for a few good warriors.”  It is posted next to a picture that appears to be actual Special Forces wearing maroon berets, which would make them Airborne special forces.
